OSU Family,
Find a way.
That was Coach Gundy’s message to the Cowboy Football team, beginning with the start of spring practices last year. And find a way they did!
They found the way to one of the best seasons in program history. Twelve wins including a Bedlam victory, Big 12 Championship game appearance and a Fiesta Bowl win over Notre Dame. And the way they did it, with a common grit and relentless determination, defines what it means to be a Cowboy.
They also found a way to go undefeated at home. But the team would tell you that you played a big part in our 7-0 record in Boone Pickens Stadium because of the home field advantage you helped create. So many of our memories from this season will be because of you -- the Sea of Orange: the 100th edition of America’s Greatest Homecoming, celebrating the greatest of all time with the induction of Barry Sanders into the Ring of Honor and the dedication of his statue, the blackout, the eruption heard miles away after Collin Oliver’s Bedlam-clinching sack.
Of course, you could have seen those games on TV. But we all know there is nothing like being there and experiencing every one of those moments.
And we thank you!
Next season is less than eight months away. And Cowboy Football wants - and needs - you back in BPS! The Cowboys have much of the team returning and exciting new players are coming to Stillwater. And we continue to make enhancements to the gameday experience – something you can’t get watching TV.
Season ticket renewals are now open and unsold seats are on sale to the public. We have kept a majority of ticket prices the same, with minor increases in a few areas and decreases in other areas.
Please don’t hesitate. The renewal deadline is March 7 and payment plans are available.
Help us spread the word. Stillwater is one of the best college football towns in America. Invite your friends, neighbors, coworkers and family to jump on and experience all that is a football gameday at Oklahoma State.
The tailgating. The Walk. The Block Party. Bullet. The Cowboy Marching Band. The Sea of Orange in BPS. And, of course, Cowboy Football.
Our goal is to fill BPS for every game. That is the best way to support the Cowboys, to help us get to the Next Level, and continue to compete for championships. It also enhances the gameday experience for everyone. It is, after all, seven Saturdays in the fall when the Cowboy Family gets together.
You make a difference!
See you in Boone Pickens Stadium this Fall.
Go Pokes!
