OSU+TBG Group Licensing

The Brandr Group (TBG) will establish group licensing for all of its sports, creating a prime opportunity for student-athletes to profit off their name, image and likeness (NIL) using OSU's official trademarks and logos.

Current OSU student-athletes can significantly enhance their potential earning opportunities by voluntarily joining a group licensing program of three or more individuals from the same OSU team or six or more student-athletes from any combination of teams.

A brand management, marketing and licensing agency, TBG has emerged as the leader in group licensing with college athletic programs in the NIL space, facilitating opportunities on behalf of the student-athletes. TBG also manages the group rights program for the NFL, NBA and MLB players' associations.

"Whether it's jersey sales, video games, trading cards or numerous other opportunities, we are thrilled to help Oklahoma State student-athletes maximize their opportunities in the ever-changing world of college athletics," said Wesley Haynes, CEO of the Brandr Group.

As a result of the partnership, fans will be able to purchase official Oklahoma State merchandise, including team jerseys, with the name and number of their favorite Cowboys or Cowgirls who have joined the respective group licensing program once The Brandr Group enters into agreements with applicable OSU trademark licensees.

Group licensing arrangements have accounted for a large portion of sports merchandise sales at the professional level for decades. This program opens the door for the same opportunities for current student-athletes at the collegiate level.

"What makes this partnership exciting is that it benefits our student-athletes and our fans," OSU Athletic Director Chad Weiberg said. "We are happy to see Oklahoma State student-athletes benefit as NIL opportunities expand. At the same time, we are excited to see our fans get to support our student-athletes by purchasing branded, licensed merchandise - everyone wins."
