Oklahoma State student-athletes will be on the forefront of name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities, education and technology thanks to OSU Elite powered by Influencer, a comprehensive program to help the Cowboys and Cowgirls elevate and capitalize on their brands.

This expanded partnership with Influencer and the OSU Spears School of Business puts the vision and expertise of the national leaders in NIL into the hands of Oklahoma State student-athletes.

"Here at Oklahoma State, there's nothing more important to us than the student-athlete experience," said OSU Deputy Director of Athletics Chad Weiberg. "This expanded partnership with Influencer and the OSU Spears School of Business will bring the best tools in the fields of brand building and entrepreneurship to Oklahoma State student-athletes so they can remain on the cutting edge both on and off the field of play. I'd like to thank the Oklahoma legislature and Governor Kevin Stitt for making this legislation a priority for our state and for all current and future Oklahoma State student-athletes."

The OSU Spears School of Business boasted the nation's first master's program in entrepreneurship, and that expertise will now focus on OSU Athletics. The Spears school will now have two new 1-hour course offerings – Personal Finance and Managing Your Personal Brand: Name, Image & Likeness – as well as group NIL lectures to OSU teams.

Oklahoma State and Influencer joined forces to allow OSU student-athletes to become their own brand ambassadors, giving players, coaches and staff across all 16 sports instant access to photos and videos from the Oklahoma State creative teams.

The results included a 56 percent jump in social media interactions on Cowboy football's social media platforms and an increase in Twitter impressions of over 21 million. Cowboy basketball's social channels checked in at No. 11 nationally in social interactions and each player increased their personal Instagram followings by 24 percent on average.

Now, the partnership with Influencer is expanding to include an app platform to help OSU student-athletes monetize their brands. Influencer now has built-in integrations with Cameo, Mojo and Players Trunk, with many additional apps coming soon for the Cowboys and Cowgirls to take advantage of.

Every OSU student-athlete will have access to Influencer's "Storyteller Playbook", which will provide data, branding strategies and educational opportunities to help evaluate and get the best out of the NIL experience.

The Influencer platform will also include a partnership with Navigate, which will provide Oklahoma State student-athletes with estimated fair market values and education to guide them through every facet of their NIL rights. Over the last 15 years, Navigate has provided valuation services across professional and collegiate athletics for over $4B in transactions.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed the state's NIL bill, which made Oklahoma the 17th state to allow college athletes to receive financial compensation on their name, image and likeness.
