Nike N7
Oklahoma State is a proud partner with Nike and its N7 project. OSU's men's and women's basketball programs, as well as its softball team, proudly wear turquoise uniforms for select games to honor Native American and Aboriginal heritage. The color turquoise represents harmony, friendship and fellowship in the Native American culture. Along with OSU, eight other schools are participating in the initiative to highlight Native American Heritage Month.
Youth Movement
Beginning in 2015, OSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has partnered with Nike's N7 Youth Movement program to host the annual Oklahoma State Youth Movement Day to celebrate the community that is such a large part of the state's history and heritage.
The Nike N7 Youth Movement is a youth fitness day where Native American students, 3rd-8th grade from across the state of Oklahoma come and participate in different sport activities including traditional Native games. The goal of N7 is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle within the Native American community.
